Job summary

onsemi is seeking an Equipment Technician to join the Equipment Management team in Malaysia. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and productivity.

You will collaborate with engineers and production teams, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, support installation and commissioning, and maintain accurate maintenance records while adhering to safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
• Experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Basic knowledge of PLC, sensors, motors, pneumatics, and automation systems is preferred.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work on shifts and support production requirements.

Responsibilities
