Job summary

onsemi is seeking an Equipment Technician in Malaysia to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve manufacturing equipment, ensuring peak performance and reliability. You will work with a team to minimize downtime and support production through preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.

The role requires a Diploma/Certificate in relevant disciplines, hands-on maintenance experience, and ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
• Experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Basic knowledge of PLC, sensors, motors, pneumatics, and automation systems is preferred.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work on shifts and support production requirements.
