Job summary

Coherent Corp. in Ipoh, Malaysia seeks an entry-level operations technician to follow documented processes and achieve daily targets. You will work under supervision to ensure ISO and cleanroom standards, maintain 5S, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires SPM or equivalent, basic glue process knowledge, and good communication and computer skills. This is a full-time position with standard factory hours and a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification is SPM.
• Basic knowledge of glue volatilization and glue mixing environment requirements.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge: Microsoft Office.

• Perform operation / process as per document and must be certified.
• Performing daily process or operation as per document.
• To be certified to perform process or operation.
• To highlight any quality issues regarding the product or operation to Line Leader or Supervisor.

• Does not perform work with substandard tools or machines.
• To achieve daily target given to them.
• Maintain 5S all the time (to perform at the end of the shift).
• Practice Lean Manufacturing. Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.

• Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of tasks.
• Compliance with ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.
