Kulai, Johor invites applications for an Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator to ensure compliance with OSHA 1994, DOSH requirements and applicable statutory regulations. You will conduct HIRARC, CHRA, NRA and ERA and maintain workplace risk assessments, conduct safety inspections, audits and incident investigations, and ensure corrective actions are closed effectively.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health, Engineering or related discipline.
• Must have successfully completed an OSH Coordinator Training Program accredited by DOSH or conducted by a DOSH-approved training provider.
• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian OSH legislation, DOSH requirements and workplace risk management.
• DOSH Green Book / Registered SHO is an added advantage.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994, DOSH requirements and applicable statutory regulations.
• Conduct HIRARC, CHRA, NRA and ERA and maintain workplace risk assessments.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits and incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are closed effectively.
• Manage chemical safety, PPE, contractor safety and emergency preparedness.
• Maintain statutory records, OSH documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct safety training and promote a strong safety culture within the manufacturing environment.
• Support the continual improvement of the Company's Occupational Safety & Health Management System.
• Perform other ad hoc safety and health duties as assigned by Management.
