Job summary

Lay Hong Food Corporation Sdn Bhd is seeking an HSE professional to ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and related regulations at our site in Malaysia.

You will develop and maintain HSE policies, conduct safety training, investigate incidents, and coordinate with authorities to ensure a safe manufacturing environment. A Diploma/Degree in OSH with SHO registration is required, with 3–5 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) or related field.
• Registered SHO with Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia (GREEN BOOK).
• 3–5 years of related work experience in manufacturing/factory.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1994 and safety practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and related regulations
• Develop and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare reports
• Monitor and follow up on corrective and preventive actions
• Conduct safety training, induction, and awareness programs
• Liaise with authorities such as DOSH Malaysia and Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia
