Qualifications

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Typically has 2-4 years of work experience in engineering design and solutions or related field.

Responsibilities

• Designs portions of engineering solutions, including methods, operation sequences, and processes for manufacturing parts and assemblies.
• Implements and executes established time standards, production area layouts, and tooling and process requirements for subsystems and new products.
• Develops cost estimates, capacity models, and recommendations for tooling and process requirements.
• Develops and reviews key indicators to measure factory performance and provide recommendations to management.
• Collaborates with management and partners regarding processes, standards, compliance and manufacturing issues of existing products.
• Coordinates recommendations for problem resolution against identified issues.
• Participates in project teams to develop reliable, cost-effective, high-quality manufacturing solutions from new-product introduction through end of lifecycle.
• Ensures compliance of manufacturing operations with internal and external regulations.
• Develops conclusions and reports from current-state analysis and recommendations using research and data analysis.
• Works independently on moderate scope problems following company policies.
