Job summary

HP is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design engineering solutions for manufacturing parts, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies, aligned with established principles and requirements. You will develop cost estimates, time standards, layouts, and tooling recommendations for new product introductions.

You will implement operating procedures, safety protocols, and maintenance plans for large-scale equipment while collaborating with internal and external partners to resolve issues and drive

Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 4–7 years of work experience in engineering design/solutions or 3–5 years with advanced degree.
• Six Sigma or APICS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering solutions for manufacturing of parts and assemblies.
• Develops cost estimates, capacity models, time standards, layouts, and tooling needs for new products.
• Create operating procedures, safety protocols, and maintenance plans for large-scale equipment.
• Collaborate with management and partners on compliance, issue resolution, and improvements.
• Work with project teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective manufacturing solutions from NPI to end-of-life.
