Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to evaluate and improve production processes in a dynamic environment. You will study products and methods to identify efficiency gains and develop cost-effective solutions for better productivity.

The role includes preparing process control documents, creating machine manuals, and supporting technicians with proper setup and operation. You will lead corrective actions and drive continuous improvement to optimize quality and output.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes by studying products, production methods, and process requirements.
• Develop innovative and cost-effective solutions to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall process performance.
• Monitor and analyse process performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Prepare and maintain all necessary process control documents, including Check Sheets, Work Instructions (WI), Control Plans (CP), FMEA, material usage, and other relevant documentation.
• Develop machine manuals and guidelines for technicians to ensure proper machine setup, fine-tuning, and operation of machines, testers, and equipment.
• Conduct buy-off, evaluation, qualification, troubleshooting, repair, optimisation, improvement, and maintenance of production tools, machines, testers, and equipment.
• Ensure production process cycle times are regularly reviewed and kept up to date.
• Investigate production rejects and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct failure analysis and prepare comprehensive reports supported by relevant data and evidence.
• Take accountability for production-related issues, including quality and output, with the ultimate objective of supporting production in improving productivity and efficiency.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties or assignments as assigned by the superior.
