Job summary

MVC Resources in Seri Iskandar, Perak, seeks a Finance & Costing Analyst to partner with plant leadership on budgeting, costing, and FP&A activities. The role focuses on manufacturing cost control, product costing for NPD/NPI, and strong governance of financial data.

Candidates should have a finance-related degree, 4+ years in manufacturing finance/costing, and solid Excel and SAP experience. This position is on-site in Perak with relocation consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years in an audit firm or at least 4 years in finance/costing within manufacturing.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Drive monthly and quarterly financial rolling forecasts, analyze CAPEX/OPEX spending and update corporate reporting systems.
• Financial Analysis & Control: Track operating expenses and KPIs, perform variance analysis against budgets, and reconcile headcount forecasts.
• Product Costing: Conduct mass product costing runs and handle NPD/NPI costing with R&D, engineering, and sourcing teams.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory provisions and mitigate risks of excess/obsolete stock, ensuring SAP data accuracy.
• Month-End Closing: Execute month-end closing, reconcile shipment values to COGS, process WIP settlements, and prepare OPEX accruals.
• Continuous Improvement: Perform ad-hoc P&L simulations and support governance and process improvements.
