Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Shah Alam is seeking a Production Supervisor with a minimum Diploma in Manufacturing, Production Management, Engineering, or related discipline. • Applicants with experience in production supervision, shop floor operations, or warehouse management will be considered an added advantage.
• Possess good understanding of QMS, EMS, safety standards, and production operation procedures.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and team supervision skills with the ability to coach, train, and manage workers effectively.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination abilities, with the capability to adapt and perform in a fast-paced working environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and guide store workers in performing stock handling, material movement, and storage activities based on the schematic layout and business requirements.
• Ensure the shop floor remains clean, organized, and properly maintained at all times.
• Carry out shop floor operations while ensuring compliance with QMS, EMS, and workplace safety requirements.
• Monitor employees’ work performance and provide appropriate guidance and training when required.
• Escalate any issues or deviations related to QMS, EMS, and safety procedures to the superior for necessary corrective actions.
• Support and cooperate with the superior in carrying out improvement projects and initiatives.
• Undertake any other assigned responsibilities or tasks given by the superior.
