Job summary

XP Power is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer/Leader to drive product quality and process efficiency across our manufacturing sites. You will review KPIs, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and guide the introduction of new products using APQP/PPAP from concept through launch.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 8 years in manufacturing engineering, with strong Lean, Six Sigma and DOE capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with a strong manufacturing background.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering and leadership.
• Profound knowledge of NPI-PCBA, DFX, optical & X-ray inspection, PCB assembly and testing.
• Strong Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, TPM and SMED expertise; excellent cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering activities to ensure product quality and process efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs and report department performance; drive continuous improvement.
• Develop strategies to close skill gaps and strengthen succession planning.
• Direct manufacturing-engineering excellence to meet and exceed goals across functions.
• Lead introduction of new products using APQP/PPAP from development to launch.
• Develop costed, optimized feedback using DFA tools to reduce costs and improve quality.
• Provide technical leadership and define roadmaps with regional teams.
• Study customer design requirements to ensure compatible processing and equipment methods.
