Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to support the manufacturing engineering team in improving production processes, efficiency, and quality. This hands-on role provides exposure to manufacturing operations, process improvement, and engineering problem-solving in a production environment.

You will assist engineers with analyzing production processes, line setup, data collection, SOP updates, and supporting Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
• Familiarity with MS Office; knowledge of data analysis tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist manufacturing engineers in analyzing and improving production processes.
• Support daily manufacturing operations, including line setup, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Collect, analyze, and report production data to identify efficiency and quality improvement opportunities.
• Assist in developing and updating work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation.
• Support Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen projects.
