Job summary

Master Tec Wire & Cable Sdn Bhd is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Alor Gajah, Melaka to optimise production processes and lead continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. You will work closely with production teams to identify and implement innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, proficiency in manufacturing software and data analysis tools, and strong problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Proficient with manufacturing software and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing engineering support to maintain high quality and yield.
• Diagnose failures and propose alternatives for future production runs.
• Review issues affecting product documentation, material, process and equipment.
• Apply engineering principles to evaluate and solve technical problems.
• Conduct engineering studies and stay abreast of technical advancements.
• Identify and implement cost-effective best practices for processes.
• Provide technical support for different processes and equipment to ensure high quality and yield.
• Manage process improvement and provide solutions for selected processes.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
