ENTEGRIS (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Kulim, Kedah is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize processes, drive continuous improvement, and lead FMEA activities in a high‑volume plastics molding environment.

The role requires a strong technical background, hands‑on experience, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives while delivering cost efficiency and improved product quality. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in mechanical/manufacturing/mechatronics.
• 3–5 years of related manufacturing/production experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and DFMA.
• Experience with Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) is preferred.
• Proficient in Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Experience with Process FMEA and Control Plans.
• Excellent communication across levels and leadership abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related tools.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Capable of leading team discussions and meetings.
• People‑oriented with strong collaboration skills.
• Goal‑driven and results oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Improve efficiency through workflow analysis, space planning, and equipment layout design.
• Provide data‑driven insights and reports for manufacturing decisions.
• Lead FMEA development and updates for assigned processes.
• Review specifications and implement changes under lead engineer guidance.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to drive process improvements.
• Coordinate projects, analyses, meetings, and reporting.
• Communicate clearly in verbal and written formats with structured reports.
• Adapt to fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Interact with customers and team to drive cost efficiency, speed, and consistency.
