Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a technically skilled engineer to analyze faults in electronic assemblies and propose quality improvements for existing and new products.

You will review defective PCBs, sensors and motors, report findings to the relevant departments, and support remedy actions including supplier communications and change management.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing electronic assemblies and embedded components.
• Ability to identify defects and propose corrective actions.
• Familiarity with change management processes and supplier communications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze locked and faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boards, sensors, motors.
• Report identified defects to responsible departments and support remedying them (e.g., supplier communication, brainstorming with technical departments).
• Suggest improvements based on analysis and evaluate/search for alternative components; implement changes as part of change management.
• Act as a competent contact person in the electronics sector for all departments.

Analyzes technical problems with electronic assemblies and generates suggestions for quality improvement for existing and new products.

Tasks/Activities

• Analyzes locked and faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boards, sensors, motors
• Reports identified defects back to the responsible departments and supports them in remedying them (e.g. communication with the supplier, brainstorming with technical departments, ...)
• Makes suggestions for improvement on the basis of previous analysis and evaluates/searches for alternative components and implements these improvements in the course of the change management
• Acts as a competent contact person in the electronics sector for all departments
