Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation is seeking a skilled professional in Kuala Lumpur to provide full operational support, coordinate cross‑dept collaboration, and guide subordinates. The role focuses on machine stability, production support for new products, cost improvement projects, and safety/compliance within an ISO/IATF framework.

You will mentor peers, maintain 5S/3Tei practices, and contribute to advanced automation initiatives, while ensuring efficient collaboration and clear communication

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications in Maintenance or Machine Reliability (e.g., TPM, CMMS).
• Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Mandarin speaking skill may advantage.

Responsibilities

• Machine Stability & Maintenance – Review PM standards, coordinate major repairs, ensure machine stability.
• Production & New Product Support – Support manufacturing plans, assist in new product development, machine setup and relocation.
• Cost & Investment Management – Implement cost reduction projects, propose capacity expansion investments, assist in budget planning.
• Training & Communication – Mentor and train peers and technicians, maintain cross-department communication, develop skills in AI and automation.
• Safety & Compliance – Adhere to safety regulations and SOPs, manage environmental, safety, and health concerns.
• Management Systems & Documentation – Maintain 5S & 3Tei, update documentation, implement ISO and IATF requirements.

Providing full support to the company and superiors to achieve organizational objectives, coordinating effectively with peers across departments, and offering guidance to subordinates. Ensuring smooth collaboration, enhancing teamwork, and fostering a productive work environment to meet departmental goals efficiently while maintaining strong communication and operational effectiveness within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Stability & Maintenance – Preferably Front of Line manufacturing process related machinery such as Dicing, Pellet Bonder & Wire Bonder. Develop and review PM standards, coordinate major machine repairs, and ensure machine stability through improvement activities.
• Production & New Product Support – Support manufacturing plans, assist in new product development, and perform machine setup and relocation.
• Cost & Investment Management – Implement cost reduction projects, propose and execute capacity expansion investments, and assist in budget planning.
• Training & Communication – Mentor and train peers and technicians, maintain professional communication across all departments, and develop new skills in AI, Power Automation, and emerging technologies.
• Safety & Compliance – Adhere to safety regulations, follow standard operating procedures, and manage environmental, safety, and health concerns.
• Management Systems & Documentation– Maintain 5S & 3Tei practices, update documentation systems, and actively implement ISO and IATF management system requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications in Maintenance or Machine Reliability (e.g., TPM, CMMS).
• Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Added skill programming languages & frame works Python, Java, C/C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, MySQL,
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with machine stability improvement techniques.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment and machinery.
• Mandarin Specking skill may advantage
