Advanced Energy in Malaysia's Penang region seeks a Manufacturing Documentation Engineer to develop, maintain, and improve assembly documentation, OMS, drawings, and visual aids by translating CAD models into production-ready processes.

You will collaborate with Design, Manufacturing Engineering, NPI, Quality, and Production to ensure documentation reflects design intent, manufacturing needs, and on-line practices, enabling safe, efficient operations.

Qualifikationen

• Proficient in SolidWorks and CAD/documentation tools.
• Experience in drafting, manufacturing documentation, and assembly instruction development.
• Ability to interpret drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing specs.
• Understanding of assembly processes, workflows, and documentation control.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision.

Aufgaben

• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing drawings, OMS, and assembly instructions.
• Translate 3D CAD assemblies into production-ready documentation with clear sequences and tolerances.
• Define assembly workflow, fastening methods, tooling, and safety considerations.
• Support DFM/DFM/ PFMEA and process optimization within documentation.
• Recommend improvements to enhance manufacturability and quality.
• Maintain and verify BOMs, CAD files, OMS, and graphics in document control systems.
• Update ECO-released drawings and maintain revision traceability.
• Act as liaison between engineering and manufacturing to ensure design intent is translated.
