Job summary

ADVANCED ENERGY INDUSTRIES (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. seeks an Engineer – Pre-Production Service to prepare and release PCBA documentation for NPI and sustaining products.

You will ensure data integrity across PLM/ERP, maintain BOMs, and support ECR/ECO workflows for prototype to production builds. The role requires 3 years in PCBA documentation, familiarity with Altium and Illustrator, and a bachelor's in electronics/electrical/manufacturing engineering.

Qualifications

• Drafting/illustration skills with engineering tools.
• Understanding of SMT manufacturing processes and rework methods.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, Gerber files, and specs.
• Familiar with ANSI/IPC standards and document control.

Responsibilities

• Create/maintain Specification Control Drawings for PCBA per requirements.
• Prepare, review, and release complete PCBA manufacturing packages.
• Maintain and validate PCBA BOMs for engineering and manufacturing needs.
• Upload/release BOMs in PLM and ERP systems.
• Verify data consistency across drawings, BOMs, PLM, and ERP.
• Support ECRs/ECOs by updating docs and product records.
• Maintain revision history and configuration traceability.
• Create test specs, rework instructions, and conversion docs.
• Familiar with SMT processes; support NPI activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve docs, BOM accuracy, and workflows.
