Job summary

Salutary Avenue Manufacturing Services Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Costing Analyst to prepare and analyse product costing, including material, labour and overhead, and to calculate production costs for new and existing products.

You will monitor cost variances, liaise with Production, Purchasing, Engineering and Finance to obtain costing information, and prepare costing reports, quotations and cost breakdowns. Fresh graduates may apply; 1–2 years costing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/finance/business or related field.
• 1–2 years costing experience preferred in manufacturing.
• Fresh graduates may be considered.
• Strong numeric, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse product costing, including material, labour and overhead costs.
• Calculate production costs and prepare cost estimates for new and existing products.
• Analyse cost variances and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Monitor and review actual costs against estimated budgets.
• Liaise with Production, Purchasing, Engineering and Finance to obtain costing information.
• Prepare costing reports, quotations and cost breakdowns.
• Maintain costing records and databases; ensure accuracy and deadlines.
