Job summary

Plexus Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas is seeking an Assembly Technician to handle assembly, setup and buyoff for semiconductor equipment systems while supporting daily production operations.

The role requires a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering with at least 1 year of experience. Familiarity with wire harness processes, strong MS Office skills, and language ability in English and Bahasa Malaysia are valued. Shift work and fresh graduates are welcome.

• Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Mechatronic Engineering with at least 1 years of experience in Equipment setup environment.
• Equipment system build knowledge will be an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of wire harness manufacturing processes and materials
• Experience with wire harness testing and validation.
• Proficient in Powerpoint, Word and Excel
• Able to read and understand English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
• Able to work on shift

• Assemble and setup semiconductor equipment systems.
• Perform buyoff for equipment systems.
• Support daily production operation.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions and work orders.
• Use hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment.
• Detect faulty operations and report to supervision.
• Support engineers in reducing cycle time and quality improvement projects.

Manufacturing / Assembly Technician (Bayan Lepas)

Responsible for assembly, setup and buyoff for semiconductor equipment system.

Supporting daily production operation

Perform mechanic skills including, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of equipment system.

Read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instruction and work orders to perform required assembly jobs.

Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.

Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

Supporting engineers in reduce cycle time and quality improvement project

Perform daily 5S housekeeping of production area

Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Job Requirements:

Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Mechatronic Engineering with at least 1 years of experience in Equipment setup environment.
