Job summary

Glints is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Mandarin Speaker) to design, develop, and maintain backend systems within a microservices architecture. You will work closely with the frontend team to ensure seamless integration of backend logic and mentor junior engineers to drive the team's success.

The role requires deep Node.js/Nest.js experience, AWS proficiency, and strong Mandarin and English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years as a backend engineer with hands-on experience in Node.js, Nest.js, and AWS.
• Fluent in Chinese Mandarin and English.
• Proficiency in microservices architecture, SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Ability to mentor and lead a small team.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js and Nest.js.
• Implement microservices patterns for scalability and resilience.
• Utilize AWS services for cloud computing, storage, and deployment.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend logic.
• Implement security best practices and ensure data protection measures.
• Develop and maintain data storage solutions using both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation.
