Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer / Technical Lead to steer both Backend and Web teams while remaining hands-on. You’ll lead technical architecture, review code, and mentor engineers to ensure scalable, secure systems. Strong expertise in Golang and Node.js, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud tooling is essential.

Fluency in English and Chinese is a plus. You will collaborate across engineering disciplines, drive standards, and contribute directly to the codebase when

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Golang and Node.js in production systems.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices and distributed architectures.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, CI/CD and GitHub workflows.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and scalable database design.

Responsibilities

• Own technical architecture and design discussions for backend and web.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards.
• Mentor and guide Backend and Web developers.
• Improve engineering standards and reduce technical debt.
• Troubleshoot production, performance, and reliability issues.
• Collaborate with Mobile, DevOps, QA, Product and other teams.
• Contribute to the codebase when required.
