Job summary

EUROVISTA TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD in Penang is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage day-to-day entries, receivables/payables, reconciliations, and reporting. You will support SST, statutory tax, and audits, while ensuring accuracy in cost standards and manufacturing costing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience in finance or accounting.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Proficient in SQL Accounting Software; experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting entry (office receipt, payment voucher, purchase invoice).
• In charge in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, conducting monthly reconciliations and monitoring general ledger transactions.
• Take charge in providing necessary information for statutory tax and audit inquiries.
• Handle full sets of accounts and generate comprehensive financial reports independently.
• Lead the preparation for SST reporting and ensure timely submission, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, such as auditors and tax authorities, to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues promptly.
• Stay updated on relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations to ensure adherence and recommend adjustments as necessary.
• Prepare and issue receipts, bills, invoices, and statements.
• Preparing cash flow forecasts and cash flow monitoring.
• Review the reasonableness of monthly financial analysis.
• Setting up Accounting System/Software.
• Collecting and analyzing data about a company’s operational costs.
• Setting standard costs of manufactured goods.
• Developing and analyzing cost standards.
• Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis.
• Establishing costs of business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, etc.
• Performing account reconciliations.
• Preparing audit reports and presenting their findings to management.
• Recommending changes to the company’s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit.
• Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data.
• Managing the company’s balance sheet and accounting books.
• Manage ad hoc assignments and additional duties delegated by superiors.
