Job summary

Meili Resort Hotel Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Lead to design and oversee preventive maintenance programs, manage a team of technicians and contractors, and control costs while upholding safety standards. You will handle urgent breakdowns and remove bottlenecks to keep hotel operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have a technical background in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, 3–5 years of technical work plus 2 years in leadership, and a Mandarin language

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on technical work plus 2 years in a leadership role.
• Education: High school diploma with technical certifications, or a Bachelor's degree in engineering or facility management.
• Strong grasp of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with a CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Design and run proactive upkeep schedules to stop equipment failures before they happen.
• Team Leadership: Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate maintenance workers and outside contractors.
• Budget Control: Track repair costs, forecast inventory needs, and buy spare parts within budget limits.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace safety laws and environmental rules to keep sites hazard-free.
• Operations Support: Respond to urgent equipment breakdowns and fix operational bottlenecks quickly.
