Job summary

Reap is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join its client-facing technical function. You will work directly with Sales, clients, Implementation, Customer Growth, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Compliance to move complex engagements from discovery to activation.

This role blends engineering with commercial sense; you should be comfortable with APIs, integrations, troubleshooting, and guiding customers toward measurable activation and value.

Qualifications

• Experience in a client-facing technical role such as Forward Deployed Engineer or similar.
• Strong fluency with APIs, integrations, webhooks, authentication, data flows, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in fintech, payments, card issuing, banking infrastructure, Web3, stablecoins, or digital finance.
• Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-sales technical discovery and qualification for enterprise opportunities.
• Translate client requirements into practical solution designs using Reap’s products and APIs.
• Identify technical risks, integration complexity, operational dependencies, and activation blockers early in the process.
• Help clients move from technical go-live to meaningful activation and real usage.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, CG, and TCX to unblock client journeys.
• Turn repeated client questions into improved documentation, enablement, tooling, and product feedback.
