Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years hands on experience in Project Management, Product Life Cycle, Change Management and NPI.
• Solid understanding of electronics manufacturing and planning.
• Understand the industry in which the customer resides.
• Understand the requirements for flexibility, cost and quality needed by the customer.
• Ability to define and monitor key performance metrics.
• Ability to establish and grow internal and external relationships throughout multiple business levels.

Responsibilities

• Drive team to manage material shortages to ensure Clear to Builds in collaboration with the Purchasing and SLM Team.
• Support the team as liaison between customer project management and internal departments on introduction of new product requirements.
• Ensure the team performs timely and accurate demand management process.
• Ensure proper Excess, Surplus and Obsolete inventory management.
• Ensure team identifies impact of excess and obsolescence and drives necessary actions to mitigate it.
• Ensure bills of material are accurate and collaborate with other teams on engineering changes.
• Collaborate with different stakeholders to achieve Inventory Entitlement targets and drive results.
• Drive actions to meet Inventory goals including performing accurate Inventory Projection.
• Lead the team to maintain continuous Material Supply to achieve targeted inventory levels and turns.
• Ensure the team performs material and capacity analysis before loading MPS.

This includes ensuring that both the technical and people aspects are taken into account, incorporating change management strategies. You will drive the planning and inventory processes, tools and applications for the site/function, advance subject matter expertise of planning and inventory management processes, tools and applications, and coach and mentor others on their strategic activities.
