Job Overview

STPG Tactical IE Manager is responsible for driving short‑to‑mid‑term operational optimization, cost efficiency, and supply alignment across NAND and SSD manufacturing. The role partners cross‑functionally with POM, GSC, EEM, PDT, and Manufacturing to translate business demand into executable wafer, capacity, and cost strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead with urgency in tactical execution, identifying risks early and providing resolutions or mitigations.
• Manage materials across Test Chip Vehicle (TCV), New Production Introduction (NPI), and High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) scopes, coordinating with FAB, BE, PE, GSC, GQ, and BU.
• Ensure product and manufacturing datasets (PSPT/PCT, MAM attr, nomenclature, Master Data, ENTBOM, wafer map) are set up by partners before demand line loading and update them as needed.
• Drive or engage cross‑functional workstreams to manage material supply throughout NPI phases, aligning priorities with PDTL/EEM for end‑to‑end visibility.
• Install business processes or automation to deploy the right set of material for the right demand at the right time.
• Collaborate on material disposition, control, and exception handling, ensuring QA hold material is released on time and acting as SME for logistics/setup issues on manufacturing lines.
• Provide timely high‑level updates to management on NPI/HVM/DIO/NRG status, issues, and recommendations.
• Coach and develop the team, promoting teamwork, documentation, and data‑driven decision making.
• Align internal strategies with corporate objectives and communicate line of sight.

AI/ML Expectations

• Extract data from various databases using SQL and other query languages, applying data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniques.
• Have experience with or readiness to learn machine learning and other advanced analytical methods.
• Have experience or desire to learn generative AI and large language models (LLMs) and use these tools to develop agentic workflows that improve productivity.

Qualifications

• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in product planning within a sophisticated technology company.
• Deep understanding of product planning from development through New Product Introduction, High Volume Manufacturing, to End of Life.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills in cross‑functional setups.
