Responsibilities
- Lead with urgency in tactical execution, bringing passion for excellence in tactical IE and inventory management; identify risks early and provide resolutions and mitigations.
- Manage operational optimization, cost efficiency and supply alignment across NAND and SSD manufacturing, covering Test Chip Vehicle (TCV), New Production Introduction (NPI) and High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
- Engage cross‑functional teams—including FAB, BE, PE, GSC (POM, TSP, TDP, SSP), GQ and BU—to drive material supply planning and execution.
- Ensure product (PSPT/PCT, MAM attributes, nomenclature, etc.) and manufacturing (master data, ENTBOM, wafer map, etc.) data sets are set up by partners before demand line loading and updated when necessary.
- Lead end‑to‑end workstreams for managing material supply throughout NPI phases, aligning with PDTL/EEM on priorities and operating with an end‑to‑end mindset.
- Implement or automate business processes so the right material is deployed for the right demand at the right time.
- Collaborate on material disposition, enforce controls for handling material exceptions or engineering builds, and coordinate release of QA‑held material on schedule.
- Serve as SME for investigating and debugging logistics/setup issues across manufacturing lines.
- Provide high‑level updates to management on NPI/HVM/DIO/NRG status, issues, and recommendations.
- Manage team performance, coach career development, and promote teamwork, documentation, and data‑driven decision making while aligning internal strategies with corporate objectives.
- Apply AI/ML techniques: extract data via SQL and other query languages, cleanse data, handle outliers, and employ machine learning or generative AI tools to improve productivity.
Qualifications
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
- Minimum ten years of experience in product planning within a sophisticated technology company.
- Deep understanding of product planning from development through New Product Introduction, high volume manufacturing, to end of life.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills in cross‑functional environments.
