We are seeking a Manager, Risk Management to lead and oversee the implementation of the organization's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. The successful candidate will ensure that strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks are effectively identified, assessed, monitored, and mitigated in line with the organization's objectives and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and continuous enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across the organization, ensuring alignment with risk governance standards and best practices.
- Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks while maintaining effective risk governance processes.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and controls to support business objectives and strengthen organizational resilience.
- Provide risk assessments, recommendations, and advisory support to Management to facilitate informed business and strategic decision-making.
- Monitor key risk indicators, prepare comprehensive risk reports, and present key risk insights to Management and relevant committees.
- Promote a strong risk management culture by collaborating with business units, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and driving continuous risk awareness initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Risk Management, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as IERP, ARIMM, IRM, PMI, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Risk Management, preferably with exposure to engineering, hospitality, natural resources, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), risk governance frameworks, ISO 31000, and risk and control concepts.
- Sound understanding of strategic, financial, operational, and compliance risk management, with familiarity in the FIC Group's business sectors.
- Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with high integrity, adaptability, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
