Job summary

Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia is seeking a Risk Management Analyst to help develop, implement, and monitor the organisation's Risk Management Framework in Selangor. You will support internal controls and governance, ensuring adherence to corporate requirements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–3 years of experience in risk management, reporting or data analysis. Proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint is essential, with Power BI knowledge seen as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in risk management, risk reporting, data analysis, audit, compliance, finance, or related area.
• Basic understanding of enterprise risk management (ERM), risk assessment, monitoring and reporting.
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and prepare clear and accurate reports and presentations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Risk Management Framework.
• Maintain internal control systems in line with governance requirements.
• Monitor the implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of risk management policies and procedures.
• Design and implement overall risk management processes for the Corporation.
• Execute risk assessments and manage documentation of identified risks and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare risk reports including risk scores, dashboards, and trend analyses.
• Conduct risk-based audits and assessments and identify potential risks.
• Support in reviewing risk profiles submitted by departments or units.
• Collect and analyse risk data from tools as Key Risk Indicators.
• Evaluate historical risk handling and recommend improvements.
• Monitor industry trends and advise on risk limit changes.
• Foster risk awareness culture among staff.

• RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the continuous development, implementation, and monitoring of Risk Management Framework.
• To maintain internal control system in compliance with corporate governance requirements for best practices.
• To monitor the implementation of Risk Management policies and procedures in Corporation.
• Assist in preparation of Risk Management policies and procedures.
• Assist in design and implement an overall Risk Management process for the Corporation.
• Execute management programs related to business line risk assessments and Enterprise Risk
• Management including the documentation of identified risks, quantification of risk exposure and continuous control improvement. (etc. corporate risk scorecard, project risk scorecard & others)
• Document risk analysis and risk mitigation strategies for internal reporting and maintaining the risk register.
• Responsible to conduct risk-based audits and assessments, analysing current risks, and identify potential risks that affect the Corporation.
• Assisting to conduct initial review of risk profile and/or updates submitted by departments or business units.
• Collect and analyse raw data from risk tools as Key Risk Indicators, risk scorecard in preparing risk report.
• Evaluate the Corporation’s history of handling risks and provide recommendation for improvement.
• To monitor industry trends and the Corporation’s developments to ensure appropriateness of risk limits and recommend changes as necessary, i.e. monitor Corporation’s exposures to risks, address “red flag” situations, address risk mitigation issues and maintain ongoing due diligence.
• Assisting in building up the risk awareness culture amongst staff.
• REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or any other related discipline from an institution recognised by MQA.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience in risk management, risk reporting, data analysis, audit, compliance, finance, or a related field. Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge or internship experience may also be considered.
• Basic understanding of enterprise risk management (ERM), risk assessment, risk monitoring, and risk reporting.
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and prepare clear and accurate reports and presentations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of data visualisation or reporting tools such as Power BI will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
