Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Malaysia I Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a highly analytical Revenue Assistant Manager to support tracking, reporting and optimisation of revenue across the business.

You will collaborate with finance and business units to ensure accurate revenue recognition and identify opportunities for growth. In this role you will produce routine revenue reports, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and support compliance with IFRS 15/SFRS 15.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 5 years of experience in revenue management or a similar role.
• Strong Excel and BI/data analytics skills.
• Experience with SAP S4/HANA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track revenue streams across business lines and ensure accurate recording in the financial system.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports and dashboards for management review.
• Perform revenue reconciliation and investigate variances between actual and forecast figures.
• Support the revenue recognition process in compliance with IFRS 15/SFRS 15.
• Liaise with business development, operations, and finance teams on billing and collections.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises related to revenue.
• Identify revenue leakages and recommend process improvements.
• Support internal and external audit requirements related to revenue reporting.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Perform revenue reconciliation and investigate variances between actual and forecast figures
• Support the revenue recognition process in compliance with accounting standards (e.g. SFRS 15 / IFRS 15)
• Liaise with business development, operations, and finance teams on billing and collections
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises related to revenue
• Identify revenue leakages and recommend process improvements
• Support internal and external audit requirements related to revenue reporting

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in revenue management, financial reporting, or a similar role within banking or financial services
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and financial controls
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or data analytics tools is an advantage
• Proficiency in accounting software (preferred: SAP S4/HANA)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
