Job summary

DayOne, a global leader in data infrastructure, seeks a Revenue Assistant Manager to support tracking, reporting, and optimisation of revenue across the business. You will work with finance and business units to ensure accurate recognition and identify growth opportunities.

In this role, you will develop dashboards, perform reconciliations, assist budgeting and forecasting, and collaborate with operations and sales on billing and controls in a fast-moving environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in revenue management or related roles.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and financial controls.
• Proficiency in Excel; Power BI or data analytics tools is a plus; SAP S4/HANA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track revenue streams across business lines.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports and dashboards.
• Perform revenue reconciliation and investigate variances.
• Support revenue recognition in accordance with SFRS 15/IFRS 15.
• Liaise with business development, operations and finance on billing and collections.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting related to revenue.
• Identify revenue leakages and suggest process improvements.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.

Job Summary

We are looking for an analytical and results-driven Revenue Assistant Manager to support the tracking, reporting, and optimisation of revenue across the business. You will work closely with business units and finance stakeholders to ensure accurate revenue recognition and identify opportunities for revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and track revenue streams across business lines and ensure accurate recording in the financial system
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports and dashboards for management review
• Perform revenue reconciliation and investigate variances between actual and forecast figures
• Support the revenue recognition process in compliance with accounting standards (e.g. SFRS 15 / IFRS 15)
• Liaise with business development, operations, and finance teams on billing and collections
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises related to revenue
• Identify revenue leakages and recommend process improvements
• Support internal and external audit requirements related to revenue

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in revenue management, financial reporting, or a similar role within banking or financial services
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and financial controls
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or data analytics tools is an advantage
• Proficiency in accounting software (preferred: SAP S4/HANA)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
