Job summary

Maersk is seeking a skilled Logistics & Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and logistics activities at Port Tanjung Pelepas, Johor. You will coordinate inbound/outbound, inventory control, order fulfilment, and ensure compliant, efficient operations.

With 5+ years in logistics and warehouse roles, you will lead a team, optimize WMS and SAP usage, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvements while coordinating with suppliers and internal departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience is essential.
• Strong hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Practical experience using SAP in logistics, warehouse, or inventory management functions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse and logistics activities including inbound, outbound, inventory control, and order fulfilment.
• Ensure smooth receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service levels.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
• Maintain and optimize WMS operations to ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Utilize WMS for inventory management, order processing, stock reconciliation, reporting, and transaction monitoring.
• Troubleshoot system-related issues and collaborate with IT and relevant stakeholders to improve system performance.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting within WMS and SAP.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock audits.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Seeking approval from customer to do the adjustment with the correct size or colour.
• Supervise warehouse and logistics personnel to ensure daily operational targets are achieved.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance management to team members.
• Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Analyze logistics KPIs, including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, on-time delivery, and warehouse productivity.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and reporting tools to generate insights and support management decision-making.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, customers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Support logistics planning and resource allocation to meet business requirements.
