Job summary

Lazada Group in Malaysia seeks an experienced investigations professional to oversee and conduct complex investigations across Lazada's business segments, coordinating resources and presenting findings to business units and law enforcement where needed.

You will develop investigative theories, gather and evaluate evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare reports to meet regulatory requirements, while also delivering integrity education and awareness campaigns across formats.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and Chinese (written and spoken) required.
• At least 5 years of investigative experience in judicial contexts.
• Strong coordination of legal resources; knowledge of criminal, civil, or corporate law.
• Experience in law enforcement, legal dept, regulator, or multinational/compliance background preferred.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple projects.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• 1、Oversee and conduct complex and thorough investigations across multiple business segments in Lazada by receiving and assigning allegations from a variety of channels, using internal and/or external resources as appropriate
• 2、Develop investigative theory and utilize specialized techniques to gather and evaluate evidence to perform analysis and draw findings
• 3、Conduct and instruct interviews of direct and indirect witnesses to present findings to business units and law enforcement agencies
• 4、Identify vulnerabilities and recommend business process refinement
• 5、Prepare reports and evidence to meet legal and regulatory requirements for presentations
• 6、Able to independently develop and deliver integrity-related education and training programs, and adept at conducting awareness campaigns in various formats

Job Requirements

• 1、Fluent speaking and writing skills in English and Chinese
• 2、At least 5 years of working experience in conducting multiple judicial investigations with a strong ability to independently carry out and complete complicated investigations. Professional certifications like CFE\CIA\CPA are preferable.
• 3、Strong ability to coordinate legal resources and knowledge of criminal law, public security, civil law, or corporate law
• 4、Experience in a law enforcement, legal department, professional regulatory body or similar organization with a judicial background, multinational corporate background, or overseas compliance background preferred
• 5、Strong organizational and prioritization skills so that you can handle a variety of projects simultaneously and be adaptable and flexible while responding to deadlines and workflow fluctuations
• 6、Ability to prepare cases and work constructively with law enforcement in pursuit of detailed investigations, prosecution and restitution, while maintaining confidentiality
