Hong Leong Bank is seeking an experienced Product Manager to own the ASB product line P&L, drive margin optimization, and shape pricing aligned with Shariah principles. You will lead end-to-end product lifecycle with Agile practices, coordinate key exercises to improve efficiency, and partner with distribution and marketing to boost sales ROI.

The role requires 5+ years in Product Management or related secured/retail financing, with a relevant degree and PSPO certification.

• Take full ownership of the ASB product line P&L and optimize NIM, fees, and unit economics.
• Develop strategies and pricing aligned with Shariah, balance sheet targets, and market dynamics.
• Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle using Agile and design thinking to improve digital channels and reduce CAC.
• Coordinate Instalment Revision Exercise with Mortgage program to drive cost synergies.
• Collaborate with HLISB Financing-i, PFS Unsecured Lending, and distribution networks to improve sales ROI.
• Perform portfolio analytics, track KPIs, and benchmark against competitors to maximize LTV.

**If you are looking to excel and make a difference, take a closer look at us...****Functional** ***(job responsibilities)**** Take full ownership of the ASB product line profit and loss (P&L), managing net interest margins (NIM), yield optimization, fee income, product unit economics, and operational cost structures to meet financial targets.* Develop and execute product strategies and dynamic pricing models aligned with value center targets, Shariah principles, and balance sheet/margin objectives.* Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch, applying Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and design thinking to optimize digital channels and lower customer acquisition costs.* Fully own, coordinate, and execute the Instalment Revision Exercise, seamlessly integrating ASB financing into the broader Mortgage Instalment Revision Exercise program to drive cost synergies and portfolio efficiency.* Partner closely with HLISB Financing-i, PFS Unsecured Lending, distribution networks (including branch networks and distribution teams), and marketing to optimize sales throughput, conversion, and campaign ROI.* Perform deep-dive portfolio analytics, metric tracking (P&L impact, adoption rates, revenue contribution, usage frequency), and competitor benchmarking using product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel) to maximize lifetime value.* Integrate continuous customer feedback, user testing, predictive analytics, and emerging FinTech trends (e.g., AI, cloud computing) to introduce high-margin digital product features.* Ensure all policies, pricing documentation, and operational workflows strictly comply with Bank SOPs, financial regulations, data privacy laws, security standards, and the Shariah Governance Framework. **Managerial** ***(team/group responsibilities)**** Lead and guide Assistant Product Managers (APMs), fostering an agile, P&L-oriented culture while managing sprint execution and product backlogs.* Act as a self-starter equipped to resolve complex financial or operational challenges and execute data-driven decisions under tight timelines.* Provide continuous product and sales strategy training to frontline distribution networks, sales teams, and operational stakeholders. **Organizational** ***(organizational responsibilities)**** Foster an environment of continuous experimentation (e.g., A/B testing) and process improvement across cross-functional matrix teams.* Exhibit dynamic, multi-tasking capabilities and intellectual curiosity while aligning multi-disciplinary teams toward overall financial and business targets.**Education/Qualification*** Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional qualification.* Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) certification (or commitment to complete upcoming cohort training). **Experience*** Must have experience in ASB Product.* Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, Business Development, or Secured/Retail Financing (Mortgage/ASB Financing), preferably from banking institutions.*About Hong Leong Bank**We are a leading financial institution in Malaysia backed by a century of entrepreneurial heritage.
