  • Guide graduates in identifying suitable higher learning institutions and programmes based on their academic background, interests and career aspirations.
  • Support graduates throughout the application, admission and enrolment process for local and overseas institutions.
  • Monitor students’ progression and admission outcomes to ensure timely follow-up and intervention where required.
  • Maintain accurate records of graduate placements, applications, offers and enrolment outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with universities, colleges and other higher education institutions in Malaysia and overseas.
  • Identify potential institutional partners that offer relevant programmes and progression opportunities for the Group’s graduates.
  • Coordinate partnership discussions, engagement activities, institutional visits and follow-ups.
  • Support the establishment and renewal of partnership arrangements that create value for both the Group and partner institutions.
  • Coordinate joint promotional activities, university engagements, education fairs, talks and student recruitment initiatives with partner institutions.
  • Work with internal teams and partner institutions to develop campaigns and activities that promote higher education pathways.
  • Facilitate university representatives’ engagement with students, graduates, parents and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all partnership activities align with the Group’s objectives, brand positioning and graduate progression needs.
  • Provide accurate and timely information on higher education options, entry requirements, application processes, scholarships and progression pathways.
  • Assist graduates in evaluating and selecting suitable institutions and programmes based on their aspirations and qualifications.
  • Coordinate with academic and operational teams to address individual progression needs.
  • Promote informed decision-making through a student-centred advisory approach.
  • Coordinate and follow up on graduate applications to partner and non-partner institutions.
  • Liaise with universities and colleges on admission requirements, application status, offers and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure graduates receive timely updates on application progress and required actions.
  • Resolve application or admission issues by coordinating with relevant institutions and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of graduate applications, offers, admissions and enrolments.
  • Track progression outcomes by institution, programme, location and intake.
  • Prepare regular reports on placement performance, conversion rates and partnership activities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve graduate placement outcomes.
  • Identify and explore new universities, colleges and higher education partners locally and internationally.
  • Evaluate potential partners based on programme relevance, institutional standing and suitability for graduates.
  • Expand the Group’s higher education network to create diverse progression pathways.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with key institutional representatives and education partners.
  • Collaborate with academic, student affairs, career services, marketing and other departments to support graduate progression.
  • Ensure higher education opportunities and partnership information are effectively communicated internally.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives related to university engagement and graduate placement.
  • Support continuous improvement of services while ensuring compliance with institutional policies and maintaining performance targets.

Job description

The Manager, Higher Education Services supports the Group’s higher education placement, progression and university partnership function. The role is responsible for guiding graduates in identifying and gaining admission to suitable higher learning institutions in Malaysia and overseas, while developing and maintaining a strong network of university, college and placement-agency partnerships.

The position serves as a key link between the Group’s graduates and the higher education ecosystem, ensuring students receive appropriate progression guidance, institutions receive suitable candidates, and the Group develops sustainable partnerships that create meaningful higher education pathways and strengthen its institutional reputation.

Core Responsibilities

Higher Education Placement & Progression

Guide graduates in identifying suitable higher learning institutions and programmes based on their academic background, interests and career aspirations.

Support graduates throughout the application, admission and enrolment process for local and overseas institutions.

Monitor students’ progression and admission outcomes to ensure timely follow-up and intervention where required.

Maintain accurate records of graduate placements, applications, offers and enrolment outcomes.

University & College Partnerships

Develop and maintain productive relationships with universities, colleges and other higher education institutions in Malaysia and overseas.

Identify potential institutional partners that offer relevant programmes and progression opportunities for the Group’s graduates.

Coordinate partnership discussions, engagement activities, institutional visits and follow-ups.

Support the establishment and renewal of partnership arrangements that create value for both the Group and partner institutions.

Partnership Engagement & Joint Promotion

Institutional Network Development
