Job summary

A leading development company in Malaysia is seeking a finance professional to prepare financial forecasts, manage budgets, and oversee financial performance of projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with accounting standards, timely reports, and mentor finance team members. Responsibilities

• Prepare financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and performance analysis.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets, track variances, and implement cost control measures.
• Monitor financial performance of development projects, including profitability analysis.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly management reports and financial statements.
• Oversee vendor payments and purchaser collections for financial accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal control frameworks.
• Coordinate with auditors and strengthen financial processes.
• Collaborate with teams for financial insights and business support.
• Supervise and mentor finance team members in reporting and compliance.

Monitor financial performance of development projects, including revenue recognition, cost allocation, and profitability analysis.

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly management reports, financial statements, and statutory submissions.

Oversee vendor payments, purchaser collections, and reconciliation processes to maintain financial accuracy and discipline.

Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks, mitigating financial and operational risks.

Coordinate with internal and external auditors, addressing audit findings and strengthening financial processes and controls.

Collaborate with project, sales, contract administration, and senior management teams to provide financial insights and support business growth.

Supervise and mentor finance team members, building strong capabilities in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.
