Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join Group Finance, Affin Bank in the role of Manager – ERP Finance and Cost Analytics. This role is responsible for delivering end-to-end cost reporting, cost accounting, and analytics to support financial control, cost transparency, and data-driven decision-making across the Group.

Job Responsibilities

• Monthly Cost Reporting and Analysis: Lead end-to-end monthly cost reporting, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of OPEX reporting. Perform variance analysis (actual vs budget/forecast), identify key drivers, and highlight notable movements. Monitor cost trends across divisions and provide regular updates on performance against targets. Maintain consistency, integrity, and quality of cost data across reporting outputs and dashboards.
• Cost Accounting and Financial Controls: Manage cost accounting activities including accruals, provisions, prepayments, reallocations, and adjustments. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. Maintain robust audit trails, support schedules, and reconciliations to ensure audit readiness. Validate and ensure the integrity of cost data within ERP systems and reporting outputs.
• Cost Analytics and Business Insights: Analyze cost drivers and identify trends, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities. Support cost optimization initiatives through analysis, tracking, and reporting of outcomes. Develop and maintain cost dashboards and structured reporting packs. Translate data into actionable insights to support business and Finance stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Business Support: Work closely with Finance, Procurement, and business units on cost queries, reporting, and analysis. Provide advisory support on cost allocations, reporting interpretation, and financial implications. Support cross‑functional initiatives with financial analysis and reporting inputs.
• Management Reporting and Communication: Prepare monthly cost packs, reports, and supporting materials to communicate cost performance and key insights. Translate analysis into structured outputs to support stakeholder understanding and discussions. Present cost performance and key findings to Finance and business stakeholders where required.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Support and guide junior team members in cost reporting and analysis activities. Maintain disciplined execution standards and adherence to timelines. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within cost management and reporting processes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, cost accounting, or analytics.
