Job summary

Howden Private Wealth in Kuala Lumpur seeks a dynamic Business Development professional to expand partnerships and drive growth in the UHNW space. You will support the Head of Malaysia Office, plan events, and prepare compelling proposals for key partners.

The role requires 3–5 years in business development or wealth/insurance planning, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication. A proactive, detail-minded team player thrives in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in Business Development, Private Banking or HNW space, wealth planning and insurance team will be a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong team player with organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Malaysia Office or CEO in engaging key partners to increase sales activities and business penetration.
• Plan and execute business development activities, including marketing events planning and management.
• Assist in the preparation and documentation of business development proposals, presentations, and reports.
• Maintain organized records and documentation related to business development activities.
• Respond to inquiries and requests for information promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with marketing to ensure alignment of messaging and promotional materials with business development objectives.
• Maintain and build long-term relationships with existing and new partners.
