Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the regional growth plan for Melaka & Negeri Sembilan aligned with Lablink's strategy.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities from healthcare providers, corporations, insurers and others.
• Increase internal revenue by expanding Lablink services usage across KPJ hospitals and related firms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners and KPJ stakeholders.
• Create and manage a healthy sales pipeline: leads, proposals, tenders, negotiations and closures.
• Perform market intelligence and competitor analysis to detect trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with laboratory operations to develop viable service solutions and proposals.
• Monitor regional sales, revenue, pipeline, conversions and account growth; report regularly.
• Support pricing, proposals and negotiations within approved authority.
• Coordinate marketing and customer engagement activities to boost awareness and use of Lablink services.
• Ensure smooth handover of new accounts to operations and monitor service delivery.
• Represent Lablink at meetings and events to strengthen market presence and generate leads.
• Ensure all BD activities comply with policies, governance and regulations.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Leading business growth initiatives for the Southern Region covering Melaka and Negeri Sembilan, with responsibility for developing external revenue opportunities and strengthening internal revenue within KPJ. The role is responsible for regional sales, business development, market expansion, customer engagement, key account development and commercial performance in alignment with Lablink’s overall business growth strategy.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• 1. Develop and execute the regional business growth plan for Melaka and Negeri Sembilan in alignment with Lablink’s commercial strategy and revenue targets.
• 2. Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities from external healthcare providers, corporations, employers, insurers, institutions and other relevant organisations.
• 3. Drive internal revenue growth by identifying opportunities to increase utilisation of Lablink services across KPJ hospitals and related companies within the assigned region.
• 4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, business partners, KPJ stakeholders and other strategic accounts to support revenue growth and retention.
• 5. Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, proposal development, tender participation, negotiation and conversion.
• 6. Conduct regular market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, emerging opportunities and potential threats within the region.
• 7. Work closely with laboratory operations and relevant internal functions to develop commercially viable service solutions, packages and proposals that meet customer requirements.
• 8. Monitor regional sales performance, revenue achievement, pipeline status, customer conversion and account development; provide regular reports and recommendations to the Senior Manager – Commercial.
• 9. Support pricing, commercial proposals and negotiations within approved authority, ensuring business opportunities are commercially sustainable and aligned with Lablink’s policies.
• 10. Coordinate and support marketing, promotional and customer engagement activities to increase awareness and utilisation of Lablink’s laboratory services.
• 11. Ensure effective handover and coordination of new accounts to the relevant operational teams and monitor customer experience and service delivery.
• 12. Represent Lablink at relevant meetings, networking activities, industry engagements and business development events to strengthen market presence and generate leads.
• 13. Ensure all business development activities are conducted with high integrity and in compliance with applicable company policies, governance requirements and relevant regulations.
