Management Trainee (Programme Management)

What You’ll Do
As a Management Trainee (Program Management), you will receive structured training and practical exposure to prepare you for future progression into a Program Executive role.
Your responsibilities include:
- Support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of assigned customer programmes and projects.
- Attend project coordination meetings and follow up on agreed action items.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and other supporting departments.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and outstanding actions to ensure timely completion.
- Assist in monitoring production plans and shipment commitments to customers.
- Support daily revenue tracking and purchase order management.
- Prepare project updates, status reports, presentations, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate project information in internal databases and spreadsheets.
- Support the monitoring and coordination of Engineering Change Orders and Engineering Change Notices (ECO/ECN).
- Identify and highlight potential project risks, delays, or operational issues to the immediate superior.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support customer requirements and ensure timely responses.
- Communicate and follow up with relevant stakeholders regarding project information, documentation, and progress.
- Participate in structured training, departmental exposure, and continuous improvement activities.
- Perform any other programme- or project-related duties assigned by management.
What We’re Looking ForEducation
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
- Candidates with relevant internship, final-year project, or extracurricular leadership experience will have an added advantage.
Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior working experience is not required, as structured training and guidance will be provided.
- Internship or project coordination experience in manufacturing, Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), or a related industry is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Able to communicate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to prepare clear reports, presentations, and project updates.
- Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate project records and documentation.
- Proactive, responsible, and willing to learn.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable working in an international and multicultural business environment.
- Positive working attitude with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in developing a long-term career in program and project management.
