MR. D.I.Y. is launching the Management Apprentice Programme (MAP), a structured fast-track development path to prepare high-potential individuals for future retail leadership roles.

As a Management Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in store operations, customer service and team leadership while undergoing on-the-job training, coaching and performance assessments. Throughout MAP, strong performers have opportunities for advanced development and progression into higher retail

Responsibilities

• Support store leadership in achieving sales and operational targets.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Support staff onboarding, coaching and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Management Apprentice Programme (MAP) is a structured fast track development programme designed to prepare high potential individuals for future retail leadership roles at MR. D.I.Y.

As a Management Apprentice, you will gain hands on experience in retail store operations, customer service and team leadership while undergoing structured on the job training, coaching and performance assessments. Throughout the programme, you will build the knowledge, practical skills and leadership capabilities needed for a successful career in retail management.

What You'll Experience

• Begin your career as an Apprentice with structured on the job training.




• Gain practical exposure to retail operations, customer service, merchandising, inventory management and store administration.




• Receive coaching and mentorship from experienced retail leaders.




• Develop leadership, communication, problem solving and decision making skills.




• Undergo continuous performance assessments throughout the programme, where high performing Apprentices may be selected for advanced development and progression into higher retail leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the store leadership team in achieving sales and operational targets.




• Assist in supervising daily store operations and coordinating team activities.




• Ensure merchandise presentation and stock availability meet company standards.




• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer enquiries professionally.




• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards.




• Support staff onboarding, coaching and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

• SPM, Diploma, or equivalent qualification. Relevant retail experience is an advantage, particularly for candidates with an SPM qualification.

• Leadership potential with a high sense of responsibility.




• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.




• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
