Job summary

PARKLAND AVENUE SDN. BHD. in Malacca is seeking an Accounts Executive to handle daily accounting operations for the mall, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and manage tenant billing.

You will monitor tenants' balances, conduct credit control, verify invoices, and maintain accurate records. Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance with 2–3 years' relevant experience is required; experience in mall or property management is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in accounting, or Credit Control is required.
• Experience in mall, property management, retail, or commercial property will be an added advantage.
• Experience handling tenant billing, rental collection, service charges, utilities, or other property-related accounts is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations for the mall, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Manage tenant billing, including rental, service charges, utilities, promotional charges, and other tenant-related billings.
• Monitor tenants' outstanding balances and conduct credit control and collection follow-ups for overdue payments.
• Process and verify invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents for mall-related expenses and transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant accounts, supplier accounts, collections, and mall operating expenses, and liaise with relevant parties on account-related matters.
• Support the mall management team in monitoring operating expenses, collections, and outstanding receivables, and perform other accounting duties related to mall operations as assigned.
