Job summary

ASE Electronics Malaysia in Penang is looking for a Maintenance Technician (Shift) to perform preventive maintenance in the End of Line Package Saw area and support machine performance targets. You will lead maintenance planning, monitor line downtime, and train fellow technicians on equipment operation and troubleshooting, ensuring a safe and efficient production line.

Diploma or certificate in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical, or 3 years related experience, with 3–5 years in an MNC

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical.
• 3–5 years of experience in End-of-line assembly in an MNC.
• Familiar with Package Saw machinery and line processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and machine sequence knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the entire designated area on EOL Package Saw.
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of Saw singulation equipment.
• Carry out Preventive Maintenance planning and development programs.
• Equipment down time monitoring and improvement plan.
• Responsible for the equipment hard down and perform line machine trouble-shooting.
• Investigates causes of machine breakdowns and implement improvements to prevent recurrences.
• To establish healthy and safe working area.
• To develop and train the technicians on equipment operation & troubleshooting skill.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time.
• Sustain line and repair for respective shift.

The goal of this position is to perform preventive maintenance in the Saw Singulation area to achieve the company’s objectives, particularly regarding machine performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the entire designated area on EOL Package Saw

2. Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of Saw singulation equipment.

3. Carry out Preventive Maintenance planning and development programs.

4. Equipment down time monitoring and improvement plan.

5. Responsible for the equipment hard down and perform line machine trouble-shooting.
