CBRE Group, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Bayan Lepas, Penang. You will maintain small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems, performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

The role sits within Engineering and Technical Services and supports energy management and safety compliance. You will review work orders, assist with installations, and ensure tasks are completed to standard.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school accepted with 3–4 years of related experience.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements (stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, lifting 50 lbs+).
• Able to follow basic work routines and standards in work execution.
• Good communication for exchanging straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building mechanical and electrical systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnose issues, and implement repairs.
• Assist in installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring efficiency of building systems.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Follow defined procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Deliver outputs under supervision following defined processes.
