Job summary

Kuka Systems GMBH Malaysia is seeking a skilled Electro-mechanical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on local customers’ equipment. You will inspect, lubricate, repair, and align components, document results, and test systems to ensure reliable operation.

We value candidates with 1–3 years’ experience in electro-mechanical settings, strong English skills, and the ability to work under tight schedules and odd hours, with willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma holder in Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of working experience in electro-mechanical installation, commissioning and customer support services of industrial/process equipment.
• Independent and able to work under tight schedules and odd hours.
• Proactive with a strong customer and team focus.
• Proficiency in English (oral & written) is a must.
• Willing to travel domestically and overseas on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular electro-mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance for local customers.
• Inspect parts for wear and tear or defects; lubricate moving parts; repair or replace faulty components; perform mechanical alignment.
• Record test results before and after maintenance; operate and test equipment to ensure it is fit for use.
• Carry out basic electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Provide daily reports covering incidents and spare parts changes when required.

  • Lubricant/grease for all moving parts
  • Repair or replacement of the faulty part
  • Mechanical alignment
• Record results before and after the preventive or corrective maintenance
• Operate and test the electro-mechanical equipment after preventive or corrective maintenance to ensure the condition of the automated equipment is fit to use.
• Carry out basic electro-mechanical troubleshooting
• Provide a daily report covering incidents and spare parts changes when required

Application Requirements

What you need to succeed

• At least a Certificate or Diploma holder in Mechanical /Electrical or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of working experience preferably in electro-mechanical installation, commissioning and customer support services of industrial /process equipment.
• Independent and able to work under tight schedule and odd hours.
• Proactive with a strong customer and team focus.
• Proficiency in English is a must (both oral & written).
• Working experience in automated material handling system is an added advantage but not essential.
• Basic computer literate such as in using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. MS Excel).
• Good level of health and fitness and to be able to work safely at height and comply to safety regulation.
• Willing to travel both domestically and oversea when neccessary in short notice.
