Job summary

O-I BJC Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop and manage rolling annual maintenance plans across disciplines within Reliability. You will use CMMS to schedule and issue work orders, coordinate with stakeholders, and lead pre-planning meetings to publish weekly maintenance plans.

The role requires 3–5 years in industrial maintenance with at least 2 years in planning or scheduling, and proficiency in CMMS and MS Office. Safety training including LOTO/PTW is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of direct industrial maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in planning, scheduling or coordination.
• Proficient in CMMS and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage rolling annual maintenance plans for all disciplines within Reliability.
• Utilise CMMS to develop, schedule and issue maintenance work orders, while managing planning activities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to determine weekly maintenance activities.
• Lead weekly pre-planning meetings to publish weekly maintenance plans.
• Manage procurement and availability of materials for planned maintenance.
• Coordinate contract labour for specialized maintenance tasks.
• Provide training and technical support on CMMS and planning processes.
• Analyze reliability data to identify improvement opportunities and support CI initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
