Job summary

CHAGEE (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a seasoned facilities management professional to oversee daily maintenance across all Malaysia outlets and premises.

You will establish standards, plan maintenance, and drive improvements while coordinating with service providers to ensure safe, compliant operations. The role requires 5–8 years in maintenance or facilities management, with preference for experience in F&B, retail, hospitality, or multi-site environments and knowledge of safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in facilities management or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant maintenance or facilities management experience.
• Experience in the F&B, retail, hospitality, or multi-site environments preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA or local compliance).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of all outlets, facilities and premises.
• Establish maintenance standards and ensure outlets comply with company requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and recommend corrective actions.
• Minimize downtime through planning and rapid response.
• Identify, appoint and manage qualified maintenance contractors and service providers.
• Negotiate service agreements, maintenance contracts, pricing, and SLAs.
• Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, response time, and compliance with company standards.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety requirements and regulatory regulations.

Job description

Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of all company outlets, facilities, and premises.

Establish maintenance standards and ensure all outlets comply with company requirements.

Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and recommend corrective actions.

Minimize equipment downtime and operational disruption through effective maintenance planning and rapid response.

Equipment & Asset Management

Provide recommendations on repair versus replacementdecisions based on cost, reliability, and operational impact.

Support new outlet openings, renovations, refurbishments, and equipment installations from a maintenance and technical perspective.

Identify, evaluate, appoint, and manage qualified maintenance contractors and service providers.

Negotiate service agreements, maintenance contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements.

Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, response time, and compliance with company standards.

Ensure contractors comply with workplace safety requirements and relevant statutory regulations.

Review quotations and recommend the most appropriate solutions based on quality, cost, and service reliability.

Safety, Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure maintenance works are carried out safely and with minimal disruption to outlet operations.

Support workplace safety, emergency preparedness, fire safety, and other risk-management initiatives.

Maintain appropriate documentation and records for audits and regulatory requirements.

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant Malaysian laws, regulations, safety requirements, and company policies.

Requirements

Possess a Diploma/Degree in Facilities Management/Project Management or related field.

Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in maintenance, facilities management, engineering, or technical operations.

Experience in the F&B, retail, hospitality, commercial property, or multi-site environment is highly preferred.

Knowledge of safety regulation (OSHA, any local compliance) is an added advantage.
