Job summary

Sam Hwa Steel in Johor, Pasir Gudang is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor responsible for developing and implementing maintenance schedules and procedures, and for leading maintenance teams to ensure plant reliability.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, ISO 14001:2015 EMS and ISO 45001:2018 OH&SMS audits, and the ability to coordinate with vendors, manage budgets, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Certified Chargeman AO is required.
• REM type 1 is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management.
• Experience in ISO 14001:2015 EMS and ISO 45001:2018 OH&SMS internal and external audits.
• Experience in schedule waste handling following DOE requirements is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of maintenance procedures and systems.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
