Job summary

Vance Bioenergy Sdn Bhd, a fast growing oleochemical manufacturing and trading company with operations in Malaysia and Singapore, seeks a career-oriented maintenance professional in Pasir Gudang, Johor. The role focuses on planning preventive and predictive maintenance for rotating equipment typical of refineries and process facilities.

Experience with pumps, compressors, valves, PSVs, and related equipment is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance in petrochemical or oleochemical settings.
• Familiar with rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and gearboxes.
• Understanding of static equipment like PSVs, valves, tanks, and heat exchangers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
• Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out as planned.
• Regularly review critical spare parts and update as needed.
• Maintain adequate spare parts stock to minimize downtime.
• Plan and coordinate manpower for scheduled or unscheduled breakdowns.
• Report monthly total maintenance expenses.
• Work with Plant Engineer on corrective maintenance.

Job description

At least 1-5 years experiences in similar background (Oleochemical, Refinery)

Experiences in troubleshooting and analyzing rotating equipment typically found in refineries and process facilities. Examples include centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, various types of compressors (reciprocating, centrifugal, screw), as well as blowers, fans, agitators, reactors, mechanical seals, gearboxes, conveying systems, fin fans, centrifuges, and decanter.

Knowledge on static equipment such as pressure safety valves (PSVs), valves, pipelines, columns, tanks, heat exchangers, and similar components is an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

Plan and develop good preventive and predictive maintenance program to reduce the number of unscheduled breakdowns.

To ensure the preventive and predictive maintenance program is carried out as it was planned.

Continuously review the critical spare part list and frequently updated whenever its necessary.

To ensure all the critical spare list quantity always enough thus to minimize the downtime during breakdown.

Plan and coordinate manpower for any scheduled or unscheduled breakdown.

To report monthly total maintenance expenses.

Work together with Plant Engineer for any corrective maintenance works.
